Our Journey

NAGOCHA's story began in January 2023 with the opening of Chakokoro Nha Trang, Vietnam's first dedicated matcha specialty & tea house. Founded with a passion for authentic Japanese tea culture, the store quickly became a destination for matcha enthusiasts from Vietnam and around the world.

On Christmas Day 2023, the brand entered a new chapter by rebranding as NAGOCHA and opening NAGOCHA Hanoi @ West Lake in the tranquil neighborhood of Quang An, Tay Ho District. This milestone marked the beginning of our mission to bring the refined culture of Japanese matcha to the capital.

In July 2024, NAGOCHA expanded to Ho Chi Minh City with NAGOCHA HCM @ Vincom Landmark 81, located within Vietnam's tallest and most iconic skyscraper. Just months later, in December 2024, NAGOCHA @ Ben Thanh opened beside the city's historic Ben Thanh Market, further strengthening our presence in Vietnam's largest metropolitan area.

The journey continued throughout 2025. In August, NAGOCHA HCM @ Vincom Mega Mall Thao Dien welcomed guests in one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods. October saw the debut of NAGOCHA HCM @ Thiso Mall Sala, introducing our first outdoor popup concept. The year concluded with two Express store openings in December: NAGOCHA HCM @ Saigon Marina IFC and NAGOCHA HCM @ The Hallmark, bringing authentic Japanese matcha to modern office and lifestyle destinations.

In 2026, our journey reached new milestones. February marked the opening of NAGOCHA Hanoi @ Hanoi Centre Department Store, a tranquil space overlooking the store's signature indoor waterfall. In June, NAGOCHA Hoi An opened in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ancient Town, bringing our matcha experience to one of Vietnam's most iconic cultural destinations. Together, these milestones further strengthened our vision of building a nationwide network of authentic Japanese matcha houses from North to South.

Looking Ahead

From a single tea house in Nha Trang, NAGOCHA has grown into a family of ten matcha houses across Nha Trang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hoi An. Every location shares the same mission: to preserve and share the art of Japanese matcha with authenticity, craftsmanship, elegance, and heartfelt hospitality.

The journey is only beginning. With every new destination, NAGOCHA remains dedicated to creating meaningful tea experiences while sharing the timeless spirit of Japanese matcha with communities throughout Vietnam and beyond.
